My son’s girlfriend blessed him with a little black ball of fur with razor sharp teeth and claws. I said, “No! No! No! We don’t need a cat!”
“Oh, please, please, please!!!” “No! No! No!” “Please!!! I promise to take care of her!” He was 19 years old and begging like a child. I told him that the only way he could keep her, was for the kitty to stay in his room and go with him when he went anywhere. Well, we all know how good that worked. Against my wishes, in less than a week and she was my kitty. You don’t choose a cat. They choose you. That was May 2011.
It didn’t take long to name her. Kitty No was and is the perfect name.
She loves to be wherever I am working, especially when I am painting in the studio. This was the first time she assisted me in the studio.
The drawer to this cabinet was just the right size for her then but NOT NOW!!!
She is even bigger now! Look at those claws!!!
My dad painted this black cat picture. I think there are a lot of similarities. What do you think?
She is a big Kitty No now. You will see her in a lot of my posts. She is assisting, otherwise known as getting in the way. I don’t put her in those photos but I love to capture her curiosity about what I am doing. I think she will make a great blogging buddy.
I hope you will enjoy getting to know her as we make this journey.
