Hi Nathalie, I am a nurse as well, I am an LPN and was in school completing my RN @ the height of the pandemic. I watched your videos searching for a pattern myself. I have made a couple of your hats and is now doing a few to send to my native country Jamaica to friends that are nurses there. Thanks so much!!
Karlene, wow what a way to finish your RN. That’s like hitting the ground running!
I think that it is awesome that you are sending some to Jamaica. I am glad that this is a pattern you can work with!!!
Blessings!
Hi Nathalie
Luv your pattern for the scrub cap with ponytail Do you have a pattern for the face mask
Thanks
Awww, thanks. No, I don’t have a pattern, but the dimensions are 9″ wide x 8″tall.1/4″ seam. Elastic is 7″ long (2 of them). Pleat measurements are from top to bottom: 1 1/2″, 1″, 1/2′,1″, 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″. There are 3 pleats that are created in the 1″ sections. Watch the video again and hopefully, it will make sense. https://youtu.be/tev98mn_Idk
I hope that helps
God bless you and stay safe
Hello from Houston! I’ve spent a couple of days watching videos looking for a pattern that I can use, with my so-so skills and limited supplies, to make scrub caps for my niece who is a dental hygienist. I finally found this one and showed her the picture of it and she said “YES – that’s perfect!”. So I have a project for today. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern!
Ann!!! WooHoo!!! So glad that I had what your niece was looking for. Let me know if you have any questions.
Stay safe and Happy Sewing!
My daughter and daughter in law work at Cape Coral Hospital in Florida and I’ve been making masks for the past 3 weeks for them and their co-workers but now they are required to wear the caps at all times too so this pattern is perfect. I made the ponytail version yesterday and today will start these. Thank you for sharing this with us and the crew thanks you also.
Cheryl, I am so glad that the pattern works for your girls.
God Bless you and the CREW!!!
Nathalie
Thank you for creating this and the ponytail version! You’ve made a great set of patterns! I am making some of each version for my daughter (Medical Assistant in-training), one of my besties who is an ER nurse, some friends of my SIL who work in a hospital in Virginia, and also for a doctor in Georgia. I will be looking for other opportunities to provide these and help our communities!
I also found some lovely bookmarks that I am looking forward to creating eventually!
Thank you for your contributions!!! <3
Tina, thank you!!! Helping like this is beyond anything I could have imagined! Thank you for the feedback. And I am excited you found something else in my library!!!

My daughter is a Dental hygienist in Idaho and saw the video and pattern. I am going to try to find a seemstress that is local to produce one or two for her. I myself do not have a machine and haven’t sewn since my children were small. Thank you producing and allowing this pattern. It is greatly appreciated!
