Hi! I am Nathalie!
And this is Kitty No!!! She is my constant companion.
Welcome to my Jesus-lovin’, crazy-busy, art-filled, crafty, and slightly disorganized world that I am calling “MY HALL CLOSET”!
I was born in the 50’s and was a teenager in the 60’s. Being a former flower child, tie dye and fringe make my heart do a little flutter, but I don’t live there (in the past) and I don’t want to go back there. However, I do love vintage treasures from that era. Sometimes I get a bit carried away with collecting. It’s not quite hoarding but almost.
As long as I can remember, I have been creative. So, I have crafting stuff, art stuff, sewing stuff, AND vintage stuff. I have to admit that I have way too much stuff stuffed into closets, cabinets, boxes, tubs, drawers, baskets, and sacks. I even have a “junker’s” pile-it (pilot) license. Pile-it here! Pile-it there.
I am retired, which means I am busier than I ever was while I was working and raising my boys.
My husband of 44 years recently passed away.
But, 44 years and only 2 moves in the last 30 years has resulted in lots more “stuff”.
I invite you to step into “MY HALL CLOSET”. This is the place where I am going public with the struggles and successes of organizing the good “stuff” and getting rid of the excess “stuff”. My hall closet is a real place in my home. I bet you have one, too. It is jammed packed with old quilts, decorative items, a lamp shade or two, candles that I have no intention of ever using, gift bags, and lots of other STUFF, LOTS OF STUFF!!!
I am going to use I.C.E. as my purpose acronym. Inspire! Challenge! Encourage!
Hopefully you will be inspired as I share creative tips and ideas. I want to inspire you to conquer your mountain of…
Hopefully you will be challenged as I de-clutter, clean out, and get rid of my excess stuff. I want to challenge you to be able to set and achieve your dreams and goals.
Hopefully you will be encouraged to face your mountains and conquer the tasks that seem too big or just out of reach.
I am far from perfect and I am not even attempting to be perfect, but I am on a mission. My mission is to love God and to share that love with you, to simplify “MY HALL CLOSET” world and to share with you how I am doing that, and to continue to be artistic and creative and to share those ideas and tips with you.
I am excited for you to join in on this journey! Let’s do this!
